Don’t Leave

Why am I sitting here, why am I letting you go?
There are no answers to be found on the greener side of that door
Need I give in to the finding that challenges all that I know?
Must I begin on the challenge of finding another way forward?
Don’t leave me

Who we are now is not all that we were or will be
Taking the coward’s way out is a choice that I never can make
Here in the wrenching and shifting and facing the darkness in me
I am reborn as myself, and our love is no longer at stake
Don’t leave me
Don’t leave me
